About the Role
We are seeking a reliable and skilled Low Voltage Technician to join our growing team. In this role, you will install, service, and troubleshoot low-voltage systems across residential and commercial sites. The ideal candidate shall be detail-oriented, safety-minded, and comfortable working both independently or as part of a team.
Responsibilities
- Install, terminate, test, and troubleshoot low-voltage cabling (Cat5e, Cat6, fiber, coax, etc.)
- Familiarity with networking basics (VLAN, IP, Wi-Fi, switches, routers, access points).
- Install and service security systems, CCTV, access control, audio/video, and other low- voltage components
- Read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and job documentation
- Maintain clean and organized work areas and follow company safety standards
- Provide excellent customer service and communicate effectively with clients and team members
- Complete daily paperwork, documentation, and service report.
Qualifications
- 1+ years of low-voltage or related field experience (preferred but not required for entry- level)
- Working knowledge of low-voltage systems, cabling, and tools
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in various environments (attics, crawl spaces, heights, etc.)
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Certifications such as BICSI, OSHA 10/30, or manufacturer-specific training a plus but not required.
