National Night Out – August 4

The Grand Island Police Department is inviting neighborhoods to participate in National Night Out on Tuesday, August 4. Residents are encouraged to host block parties, cookouts, ice cream socials, or other neighborhood gatherings to build stronger connections with neighbors and local law enforcement.

Neighborhoods wishing to receive a visit from Grand Island police officers should register their event at www.gipolice.org/nationalnightout. The department will make every effort to visit as many registered events as possible throughout the evening.
