The Grand Island Area Metropolitan Planning Organization (GIAMPO) will be holding a public meeting on December 11, 2025 for the draft 2050 Long Range Transportation Plan (LRTP). During this meeting, participants will be able to learn more about the content of the draft LRTP and ask staff questions about potential future multi-modal transportation strategies and proposed projects that will help guide transportation planning decisions for the next 25 years. Unable to attend in person? All meeting materials and a copy of the draft 2050 LRTP will be posted online beginning Thursday, December 11, at www.GI2050.com. Comments will be collected until January 12, 2026, and can be submitted at the public open house, on the website, emailed to comment@GI2050.com, or mailed to Allan Zafft at 100 East 1st Street, PO Box 1968, Grand Island, NE 68802.
